Stan Wawrinka Wins 2016 U.S. Open While Wearing his Audemars Piguet A custom pink Royal Oak Offshore to match his outfit.

In September this year Stan Wawrinka took out the U.S. Open, beating the number one seed Novak Djokovic. This feat is already pretty impressive in itself, but Wawrinka did it while wearing an Audemars Piguet 42mm Royal Oak Offshore Chronograph in steel. He actually played the whole tournament in the watch, and it’s not the first time. Wawrinka previously wore the same watch while winning the 2015 French Open.  Unlike Rafael Nadal’s ultra light Richard Mille Tourbillon specifically designed for him, Wawrinka’s is the regular thick and heavy Royal Oak Offshore, making this all the bit cooler.  The only custom aspect of the Offshore is the rubber strap, developed to match his US Open outfit from Yonex.
