Offering a carefully curated selection of luxury shades and specs, the onepointsevenfour eyewear boutique has opened its Sydney location on Glenmore Road, Paddington. The store fit-out is incredible and worth a look even if you’re not in the market for some new sunnies. Onepointsevenfour stocks eyewear from around the globe that is otherwise unseen in the Australian market.
Home to Australia’s first Cutler and Gross ‘store in a store’, onepointsevenfour is also a showcase for the eyewear collections of Alexander Wang, Kriss Van Assche, Alberta Ferretti, Thom Browne, Matthew Williamson, Marni, Dries van Noten and The Row amongst others.
Paying homage to the mantra that eyewear is an art-form, the store is brimming with eccentric pieces and frames made with unique materials such as buffalo horn, 24 carat plated titanium and snakeskin.
The boutique has been curated by director, designer and optician – Joshua Matta who has been involved in the opthalmic industry for over 20 years and has co-designed eye wear collections with Sass & Bide, Akira and Zambesi.
