Premium fabrics, classic styling and a splash of tasteful preppy colours make up the new Jac+Jack Spring collection.
Designer Pat Blue presents a study in refined understatement for the collection. Colours aptly labelled ‘Harvest Yellow, ‘September Blue’, ‘Mid Sage’ and Ink Navy pepper the range which reflects travel and holiday dressing influences inspired by a recent trip to Rome.
Jac+Jack worked with renowned photographer David Armstrong to produce a collection of portraiture photos (below) that makes up the labels first international campaign.
It’s hard to grasp an idea of textures via a lookbook, however after a quick browse through the Paddington store over the weekend I was blown away by the supreme quality of fabrics. The pure cashmere Bon Sweater is so soft it’ll makes your favourite vintage t-shirt feel like sandpaper. It’s also nice to see the garments taking on a slightly longer cut, especially for the taller customer out there like myself.
Colour is key at the moment, so throw a splash of paint in your spring wardrobe and go check out Jac+Jack.
Jac+Jack Spring 2012 collection lands in stores from July 1 available from flagship store Jac+Jack 39 William Street Paddington and online www.jacandjack.com, selected David Jones stores nationally and selected independent stores throughout Australia and New Zealand.
