David Beckham’s Haig Club Whisky

David Beckham’s Haig Club Whisky is here! England’s favourite son David Beckham is adding Haig Club whisky to his already substantial marketing empire. Haig Club is named after the founder of Cameronbridge distillery, John Haig, and created in partnership with David Beckham and Simon Fuller. Apparently, the whisky is light and sweet, aimed for all palates and all drinking styles be it neat, over ice or in a short cocktail.

For Haig Club’s first ad Beck’s got Guy Ritchie on board to shoot an exclusive group of mates as they descend on a gorgeous lakeside castle in Scotland. It sounds cheesy but the ad is actually great and has been cast very well – with Beckham arriving on a motorcycle before donning a velvet smoking jacket to meet his outrageously well dressed friends. Check it out below.

(It’s so good I didn’t know what category to put it under so its gone in Style, Culture, Food+Drink and Indulgences)
